SpotSee® MAG 2000 – Resettable Impact Indicator

Robust, multi-orientation shock monitoring for heavy freight. The MAG 2000 is a resettable, tamper-evident impact indicator designed for large crates, machinery, and heavy industrial equipment. Using a precision magnetic trigger mechanism, it activates only when impact forces exceed the specific G-level and orientation selected for your shipment[cite: 1, 39].

Orientation-Specific Protection

The MAG 2000 is highly accurate because it is calibrated to specific axes of movement[cite: 1]. Ensure you select the correct orientation at checkout:

  • Horizontal Trigger – Horizontal Impact (HH): Activates if the shipment receives a sideways impact while positioned horizontally[cite: 35, 39].
  • Vertical Trigger – Vertical Impact (VV): Designed for equipment shipped upright that must not experience strong upward or downward impacts[cite: 35, 39].
  • Vertical Trigger – Horizontal Impact (VH): Ideal for tall or upright loads where side-impact detection is required[cite: 35, 39].
  • Two-Unit Dual Orientation Set (M23A): Includes one vertically mounted and one horizontally mounted indicator for full-axis monitoring[cite: 35, 39].

Key Features & Applications

  • Resettable & Reusable: Magnetic trigger can be reset with a specialized key, allowing for repeated use in internal loops or testing phases[cite: 4, 35].
  • Broad G-Range: Available from 0.5G to 20G to accommodate various machinery masses[cite: 1, 35].
  • Typical Uses: Aerospace avionics, heavy engineering, medical imaging devices, and large export crates[cite: 1, 35, 37].
