ShockWatch Flex – When to Use the Flexible Surface-Mounted Impact Indicator
ShockWatch® Flex is a surface-mounted impact indicator for products with curved, uneven or irregular surfaces. Where the rigid ShockWatch Clip or MiniClip housings cannot sit flush, the Flex housing bends to the shape of the product, giving secure mounting and accurate detection.

What is ShockWatch Flex?
A single-use mechanical impact indicator that attaches directly to the product. It holds a ShockWatch Tube, which activates when an impact exceeds the selected G-level and turns permanently red. The activation cannot be reset or reversed, so it leaves a tamperproof record that stays with the product.

When to use ShockWatch Flex

- Irregular or textured surfaces where a rigid housing cannot sit flush
- Limited flat mounting space, making Clip or MiniClip unsuitable
- Products unpacked and repacked — rental equipment, service and repair items, calibration-critical instruments
- Where tamperproof evidence matters — mounted to the product, it cannot be removed or replaced unnoticed
The Flex keeps the tube properly aligned and visible, which matters for both accurate activation and easy inspection.
