50ml Blue to Clear at 31C Thermochromic Colour Changing Screen Printing Ink Paint for Paper & Board

£8.50 GBP
This ink disappears at 31C revealing hidden print below it. It can be used for leaflets, game cards, stickers and collector cards, magazine covers, quiz cards, on-pack promotions, and P.O.S material. The black version of this product was used by a newly launched bank to a 20,000 strong targeted database. A mailer card used a black ink panel on the front of the card, which asked the recipient if they were Gold-Fingered? When touched the panel changed colour from black to transparent showing the gold below. Thermochromic inks react to changes in temperature by exhibiting a colour change. This 50ml pack comprises 25ml slurry and 25ml binder, which when mixed, produces a thermochromic ink that can be applied to Paper and Board, and by the addition of a different binder can also be applied to Textiles. The slurry and binder need to be mixed together in equal amounts, in order to create a finished ink. Thermochromic inks are a darker colour when colder than their temperature activation point, and lighter in colour or virtually clear when warmer than the activation point. These are inks are part of a line of eye-catching temperature sensitive (thermochromic) finished inks, formulated using the latest printing ink techniques. The ink colour on a printed item disappears as the temperature rises above the response temperature of the thermochromic ink and then it reverses back to its original colour as the temperature is reduced again (below the response temperature). Our inks are available in several colours and can be featured in a variety of applications including high end promotional items, advertising, labels, packaging, security documents, textiles, toys, novelties ...................
