Description

SpotSee® ShockWatch® MiniClip – Double-Tube Impact Indicator

SpotSee® ShockWatch® MiniClip Double-Tube indicators provide compact, highly visible, tamper-evident visual evidence if a monitored parcel experiences an impact above the selected sensitivity (G-level). The double-tube MiniClip format enhances inspection visibility while retaining a small footprint for parcels and compact cartons.

How It Works

ShockWatch® MiniClip indicators are single-use impact indicators. If an impact exceeds the selected G-level, the indicator provides a clear visual change that can be checked on receipt to flag potential mishandling during transport or last-mile delivery.

Double-Tube Mini Format

  • Double-tube design for improved visibility during receiving inspection
  • Select sensitivity (G-level) to match product fragility and packaging design
  • Compact format suitable for small cartons and parcels

Selecting the Correct Sensitivity (G-Level)

  • Lower G-levels offer higher sensitivity for fragile products
  • Higher G-levels are suited to more robust shipments
  • Sensitivity selection should consider product fragility, packaging, and handling risk

Typical Applications

  • Small parcels and compact cartons
  • Electronics, instruments, and spare parts
  • Medical devices and diagnostic components
  • Courier and last-mile delivery shipments

Key Features

  • Clear visual evidence of impact above the selected threshold
  • No batteries or electronics required
  • Mini format with enhanced inspection visibility
  • Supports handling awareness and receiving checks

Use & Handling Clauses

  • Placement: Apply to a clean, dry surface on the outside of the parcel where it can be easily inspected on receipt. Avoid placement where it may be rubbed, crushed, or obscured.
  • Interpretation: The indicator provides visual evidence that an impact above the selected G-level may have occurred. It does not record exact impact magnitude, time, location, or number of events.
  • One-Time Use: ShockWatch® MiniClip indicators are single-use and cannot be reset or reused.
  • Environmental Considerations: Avoid exposure to conditions outside intended use (such as strong solvents, extreme abrasion, or persistent moisture) that may affect readability.
  • Suitability & Liability: Indicators do not prevent damage or guarantee product condition. Users must validate suitability for their application, packaging design, and SOPs.

Compliance & Manufacturing

ShockWatch® indicators are manufactured by SpotSee®, a global leader in condition-monitoring solutions trusted worldwide for shipment quality assurance and handling compliance.
