SpotSee® TiltWatch® XTR QR – Connected Tilt Monitoring

The connected evolution of the industry-standard tilt indicator. TiltWatch XTR QR gives you the same trusted, tamper-proof alert when a shipment is tilted beyond 80° — now with a scannable QR serial. Each single-use indicator turns bright red if the package is tipped, inverted or laid on its side, and every unit is uniquely serialised, logging the condition, time, date and location to the SpotSee cloud when scanned. No app required.

TiltWatch XTR QR Key Features:

  • Binary Tilt Activation: The indicator turns from green to red at precisely 80° — a clear pass/fail status.
  • Visual + Digital Record: The same clear red tilt alert, plus a scannable QR audit trail stored in the SpotSee cloud.
  • No App Required: Recipients scan the QR with any smartphone camera (Safari, Chrome or Firefox), or a handheld mobile computer camera.
  • Serialised & Tamper-Proof: Every unit carries a unique serial number printed on the face, and the QR code links it to the SpotSee cloud record; once activated the change is permanent and irreversible.
  • Vibration-Proof & Moisture Resistant: Ignores normal road and sea vibration and withstands humid export conditions.
  • Cloud Traceability: Scan data (condition, timestamp, geolocation) is held in the SpotSee cloud.

Pack Size Options:

  • 10 Pack: 10 QR tilt indicators + 10 warning notices. (Ideal for trials).
  • 100 Pack: 100 QR tilt indicators + 100 warning notices. (Standard industrial pack).

TiltWatch XTR companion labels are available separately, on rolls of 200 and 500.

Where should I mount it?
Mount on a rigid, vertical surface such as a crate corner or reinforced carton wall, so the reading reflects the cargo's actual movement rather than packaging flex.

TiltWatch® XTR QR – Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between TiltWatch XTR and TiltWatch XTR QR?

Both give the same bright-red visual alert when a shipment is tilted beyond 80°. TiltWatch XTR QR adds a scannable QR serial that records the condition, time, date and location to the SpotSee cloud, giving you a digital audit trail alongside the visual indicator.

Do I need an app to read a TiltWatch XTR QR?

No. Recipients simply scan the QR code with any standard smartphone camera and browser — no app or account is needed to read the condition.

Where is the serial number?

It is printed on the front of each indicator, below "Scan on receipt". Scanning the QR code also brings up the indicator's record.

What does TiltWatch XTR QR detect?

It detects when a shipment has been tilted beyond 80°. If the package is tipped, inverted or laid on its side, the indicator turns bright red to show a tilt event occurred.

Does it detect vibration or shock?

No. TiltWatch XTR QR is exclusively for tilt/orientation monitoring. It ignores normal vibration and should be paired with ShockWatch 2 QR if impact monitoring is required.

What goods require tilt monitoring?

Appliances, machinery, medical equipment, glass panels, electronics, and any product that must remain upright during transit.

Is TiltWatch XTR QR single-use?

Yes. Once activated, the indicator permanently changes colour, providing a tamper-evident record of tilt events.
