Description

Thermax® Precision 11-Level Irreversible Temperature Labels provide highly accurate, permanent visual confirmation that specific temperature thresholds have been reached or exceeded. Each indicator cell turns from clear to black irreversibly once its activation temperature is surpassed, creating a tamper-evident record of maximum temperature exposure.

These precision strips are widely used in quality control, process validation, equipment monitoring, warranty protection and any application requiring higher-resolution, multi-point temperature exposure tracking in industrial, laboratory, electronics and production environments.

Product type Irreversible temperature indicator strip (Precision)
Indicator points 11 irreversible temperature points per strip (range dependent)
Pack size 25 labels per pack
Strip size 20 × 55 mm
Mounting Self-adhesive
Visual indication Clear → Black (irreversible)
Resistance Oil, water and steam resistant

Please note: Images shown are representative Thermax® Precision strips. Actual printed temperature values vary depending on the selected range.

Key features

  • 11 distinct temperature points per strip for higher-resolution monitoring
  • Permanent, tamper-evident colour change for maximum-temperature evidence
  • Fast response and immediate visual confirmation
  • Accurate, reliable, and easy to interpret
  • Self-adhesive backing for secure placement on equipment, components, or surfaces

How it works

As temperature increases, each of the eleven indicator cells will turn black irreversibly once its rated temperature is exceeded. The last activated (black) cell provides a clear record of the highest temperature reached during processing, handling, transport or operation.

Accuracy

  • 25–100°C: ±1°C
  • 104–150°C: ±1.5°C
  • 154–200°C: ±3°C
  • 204–300°C: ±4°C

Range options

Six temperature ranges are available. Each range contains 11 fixed activation points printed on the strip.

  • Range 1: 25–50°C — GLI-M11STHE025C01P1
  • Range 2: 50–75°C — GLI-M11STHE050C01P1
  • Range 3: 75–100°C — GLI-M11STHE075C01P1
  • Range 4: 100–150°C — GLI-M11STHE100C01P1
  • Range 5: 150–200°C — GLI-M11STHE150C01P1
  • Range 6: 200–300°C — GLI-M11STHE200C01P1

Typical applications

  • Process validation — confirming that in-process temperatures have been achieved
  • Electronics manufacturing — detecting overheating of sensitive components
  • Preventative maintenance — monitoring motors, bearings, pumps and machinery
  • Warranty management — identifying temperature-related damage
  • Drying, curing & bonding — ensuring correct thermal processing conditions
