Colour Changing Smart Thermochromic Screen Printing Ink

£12.75 GBP

Thermochromic screen ink magically changes colour at certain temperatures.

Thermochromic coatings can be used to obscure hidden layers, such as text, colours or images.

This product can be applied to paper, metal, glass, plastic and stone.

We have a broad range of activation temperatures to choose from, please specify by leaving us a note on your order.  Each temperature is sensitive to different conditions including chill (15°C), touch (27°C), friction (31°C) and hot heat (47°C).

When you cover a pink piece of fabric or card with thermochromic ink, the thermochromic ink will help hide the colour below. When the thermochromic coating reaches its activation temperature, it will lose its opacity and become translucent, revealing the secret colour below. Black thermochromic ink offers the best opacity.

The image below shows this ink applied to a plastic film.
