Description

Cold Chain Complete XS Temperature Indicator Labels

Cold Chain Complete XS provides a compact, single-use temperature indicator label designed to support cold-chain compliance checks on small parcels and space-constrained shipments. The XS format combines both cold and warm excursion monitoring on one self-adhesive label, making it ideal for lightweight consignments where full-size cards are not practical.

Each Cold Chain Complete XS label integrates a FreezeSafe® descending temperature indicator and a WarmMark® ascending time–temperature indicator, delivering clear, irreversible visual evidence of unacceptable temperature exposure during transit.

How It Works

Cold Chain Complete XS labels are supplied ready for use. The freeze indicator requires no activation. When preparing a shipment, the warm indicator is armed by pulling the activation tab. During transit, the label permanently records exposure to temperatures outside the defined limits, allowing a simple visual check on receipt.

Supply Format & Minimum Order

  • Supplied as individual Cold Chain Complete XS temperature indicator labels
  • Minimum order quantity: 100 labels
  • Order quantity refers to the total number of labels supplied

Typical Applications

  • Clinical and diagnostic sample shipments
  • Small-parcel pharmaceutical and biotech logistics
  • Temperature-sensitive consumables and kits
  • Lane testing, validation studies, and compliance monitoring

Key Features

  • Compact XS format with self-adhesive backing
  • Combined cold and warm excursion monitoring on a single label
  • Clear, irreversible visual indication of temperature exposure
  • No electronics, batteries, or software required
  • Supports quality assurance documentation and acceptance decisions

Use & Handling Guidance

  • Placement: Adhere the label inside the package, as close as possible to the product being monitored. Avoid direct contact with ice packs or heat sources unless required by your SOP.
  • Inspection: Inspect the indicator immediately upon receipt. Any colour change indicates a temperature excursion beyond the specified limits.
  • Validation: Users are responsible for validating suitability within their packaging design, shipping lane, and operating procedures.

Compliance & Manufacturing

Cold Chain Complete XS temperature indicators are part of the SpotSee® cold-chain monitoring ecosystem and are used globally by pharmaceutical manufacturers, laboratories, logistics providers, and food and beverage organisations to support shipment integrity and quality assurance.
