ShockWatch 2 vs ShockWatch 2 QR - Complete Guide

In short: ShockWatch 2 QR is identical to ShockWatch 2 in sensitivity, size, adhesive and fitting, with a QR code added to every indicator. SpotSee is moving the range to the QR version, so as standard stock runs out, ShockWatch 2 QR becomes the supplied product.
ShockWatch® 2
ShockWatch® 2 is a single-use, field-armable impact indicator. It gives a clear, tamper-resistant visual signal when a shipment has taken a potentially damaging impact: the window turns bright red and cannot be reset.

Seven sensitivities from 5G to 75G let you match the indicator to the fragility of your product. Typical applications include electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive components, aerospace parts, and any shipment where impact damage is costly or hard to diagnose.
ShockWatch® 2 QR
ShockWatch® 2 QR is the same device with a QR code on its face. Same seven sensitivities, same 43 × 43 mm size, same acrylic adhesive, same field-arming and the same price — it fits and reads exactly as before, so nothing about your packing process needs to change.
What the QR code adds is a check the recipient can make on arrival. Scanning with any smartphone camera, with no app and no account, shows:
- The indicator's condition on screen, rather than leaving someone to judge how red a window looks.
- Its serial number. The serial is not printed on the indicator, so scanning is the only way to read it — turning a red window into an identified device you can tie to a consignment.
- An image of the indicator, captured at the moment of receipt.
Match the serial recorded at dispatch to the one scanned on arrival and nobody can claim a different indicator was fitted.
SpotSee Cloud – 100 pack only
SpotSee Cloud is a dashboard across all your registered sensors: condition status in one place, scan history per sensor, and scan time and location, which are shown only inside the Cloud portal. It also gives a view across multiple shipments, so you can see which routes, depots or handovers generate impacts.
SpotSee issue one registration code per 100-unit box, and that code registers all 100 sensors to a single Cloud account. Cloud registration therefore comes with the 100 pack. The 10 pack does not include it — though its indicators still scan exactly as described above.
