SpotSee® ShockWatch® Tube glass tube impact indicators provide mechanical impact detection for OEM integration and embedded monitoring applications.

These standalone tubes require no power source and can be embedded directly into products, machinery, or equipment to monitor impact events throughout the product lifecycle - not just during shipping.

Key Features

  • Mechanical operation: No batteries or power required
  • 360° impact sensitivity: Detects impacts from multiple angles
  • Irreversible activation: White-to-red color change when G-force threshold is exceeded
  • Operating temperature: -13°F to 176°F (-25°C to 80°C)
  • Impact duration: 0.5 to 50 msec
  • Product life: 2 years from manufacture

Available Sensitivities

Select from 7 G-force levels to match your product's fragility profile:

  • 10G (Type 85): Most sensitive - for extremely fragile items
  • 15G (Type 75): Very sensitive
  • 25G (Type 65): Sensitive
  • 37.5G (Type 55): Medium sensitivity
  • 50G (Type 47): Moderate
  • 75G (Type 35): Less sensitive
  • 100G (Type 30): Least sensitive - for robust items
