This new label remains black in colour until it reaches 50°C and and the red image at 50°C and above.

Demonstrate clearly that surface temperatures are reaching the designated temperature of 50°C without the need for the current solutions of locked controls and or covers. The secondary benefits include lower installation and operational costs for heating and easier movement around heated areas, as they will not have the extra projection of a cover.  Contact with hot surfaces above 50°C can lead to serious injury. Prolonged contact often occurs because people have fallen and are unable to move, or are trapped by furniture. Incidents often occur in areas where there are low levels of supervision, for example in bedrooms, bathrooms and some communal areas. Directions for use: Press the label firmly onto a dry, clean and solid surface in a visible position on radiators, pipes etc.  Please note: The label will switch back to black at approx. 105°C.
