20ml 27C Black Thermochromic Touch and Reveal Colour Changing Ink Paint for Fabric and Textiles

£6.75
Thermochromic Temperature Sensitive Colour Changing Paint Ink for Textiles 20ml Touch & Reveal Thermochromic inks react to changes in temperature by exhibiting a colour change. This 20ml pack comprises of 10ml slurry and 10ml binder, which when mixed, produces a thermochromic ink that can be applied to many types of fabric, and by the addition of a different binder can also be applied to Textiles. The slurry and binder need to be mixed together in equal amounts, in order to create a finished ink. Thermochromic inks are a darker colour when colder than their temperature activation point, and lighter in colour or virtually clear when warmer than the activation point. Chameleon® is a line of eye-catching temperature sensitive (thermochromic) finished inks, formulated using the latest printing ink techniques. The ink colour on a printed item disappears as the temperature rises above the response temperature of the thermochromic ink and then it reverses back to its original colour as the temperature is reduced again (below the response temperature). Chameleon® Inks available in several colours, can be featured in a variety of applications including high end promotional items, advertising, labels, packaging, security documents, textiles, toys, novelties ................... We currently stock a 31*C & 27*C slurry (for body touch/rub and reveal applications), but, depending upon volume, we could also supply slurries at either 15*C (for chill and reveal applications), or a 47*C slurry (for hot applications). Please note: In liquid form this paint can have a very short shelf life. This can be as short as a few months. To avoid discolouration and deterioration in the thermochromic effect, we recommend that it is kept at a cool to moderate room temperature. Extended exposure to UV / Sunlight will reduce the shelf life.
